Favorite Mexican in Livermore. Their beans are the bomb!!!
Great food, big portions, friendly staff, clean restaurant.
Relaxing atmosphere and ok customer service. The chips and salsa were good. I had the Chile Verde plate and blended margarita. The food was good for the price. The margarita tasted like water and alcohol. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again but good in a pinch if you feel like Mexican food.
Great homestyle cuisine in a friendly atmosphere!! Try the mole and Chile Colorado for a real treat!!!
The food is good but what makes this place a real standout is the service. I had chili verde platter with rice and beans and flour tortillas. It was my lunch following golf and I couldn't eat all of it put the rice and beans are so good I ate all of that and there was about half of that chili verde pork left I asked for a box and ordered rice and beans to go. The server took my leftovers to the kitchen and he returned with a take out box with my leftovers in it. I took a peek at it and what he had done was he had added rice and beans to my leftovers and didn't charge me. And he also packaged up some chips and salsa and added that to my leftovers! That's pretty classy.
A pleasant place to sit down and enjoy a moderately priced, hearty meal. Excellent salsa and chips, and I enjoy the shrimp platters or soup. The tacos and burritos aren't quite as good as Tequila's, but the chile relleno is better. A full selection of tequilas but fairly pricey.
Great service. Their food is wonderful. The interior could be spruced up.The staff is so friendly and appreciative of your business.
I have been coming here for years. Great food, great service. The waiters are always so attentive and will get you anything you need. They are so friendly and I always feel welcomed. The aesthetic is also very nice. They have beautiful paintings inside and other nice decorations. I really really recommend this place. It’s honestly my favorite mexican restaurant.
Went here for lunch. Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. The food was ok, nothing special. It is a little over priced for what you get.
Very nice little restaurant roll fence of food I enjoyed all the food that I did either nice relaxed atmosphere
Great salsa. Good service. Good food.
I love Anita's! They serve authentic Mexican food in generous portions. The Chile Colorado is fantastic, and I also like their vegetarian burrito. It's tucked away and easy to miss, and many patrons are regulars. I recommend this place to anyone in town who likes Mexican food over the restaurants on First St.I should also say that their chips and salsa are fantastic!
Excellent service great food
My husband and i love this place so much! The margaritas are very tasty and the chiles rellenos are excellent too. If you like shrimp, they have the best shrimp enchiladas. Be careful that you are hungry when you get the chicken soup. It is a huge bowl filled with tasty, tasty chicken goodness.
Food was yummy! They were understaffed for the lunch rush. Had to ask to have our order taken. Had to ask for chips. Had to ask for checks. The food did come out very quickly after we ordered though. Have been here many times before and did not have these negative issues. Think it was just an extra busy day. Multiple large groups.
Great food, fast service
A great place to dine! The service staff is attentive and the meals are delicious. We eat there so often the waiters bring our favorite beverages as soon as we're seated. The restaurant specializes in dishes from the Jalisco region; if that's what you like, you'll love this restaurant!
This place used to be very good. We gave it 5 5 or 6 more chances for a comeback thinking it must just be a fluke. Cold food. Good service. Food is good, but cold.
Food was pretty good, a lityle bit spicy but worth it. Waiter kept our glasses full and making sure we were happy.
Really good Margaritas by the picture
Great Mexican food, great service, colorful Mexican style atmosphere and musica!
Great Mexican food and service
Anita's is so good. Got it to go, they had a full house. Only had a 15 minute wait.
Had a surf and turf burrito . Very good and excellent service
My waiter was quick, efficient and very polite. The food is quite expensive. I got the pork tacos which were delicious. The one problem is that the pieces of pork were so large that I was sitting there tearing them apart so that they could fit in my mouth.
Love the chicken enchiladas. Good service and the food is on the table super fast.
This is a great place to eat! The dining experience was amazing. The food was decently priced and delicious. I was absolutely satisfied with the Carne Asada Plate and my boyfriend loves the Expresso Burrito. The salsa served with chips as an appetizer was so yummy and tasted so fresh! I can not wait to go back and get served by such amazing staff. They all had smiles on, even when doing simple tasks like bussing tables. Also, they were so kind and never rushed us. The amazing service and food is evenly matched with an ambience and decor that felt both authentic and unique. I recommend this place and can't wait to go back.
Thank you Anita's Mexican Restaurant. We started with 3 for lunch, and quickly grew to 25. They accommodated our large party with a smile. Everyone's meals were great, drinks were amazing and the services was outstanding. We highly recommend eating here! 👍
We don't make it there as frequently as we used to, but we are never dissapointed. We used to have lunch at Anita's while we were dating. The food was good then and 23 years later it is still a great place to eat. Friendly staff and good food.
I’m having Chicken Burrito for dinner because I love it!!I Drank Orange Juice with my Lunch.
Got to try the tacos here. A+
Ok food...nothing special. Had better Mexican food.
Excellent food at a reasonable price, served very quickly in a charming setting. This is our new go to Mexican restaurant.
My favorite food is Mexican. Anita's is the go-to for my husband and I and we have our Son and Daughter-in-Law hooked too! The food is fresh and prepared to perfection! The staff is always friendly and attentive. The only issue we had was, the handicap parking is all the way around the back of the restaurant and there is no back door! You have to walk all the way around the restaurant to get in, or go through the bar next door.
Loved it! It was nice and cozy!
Place was awesome! Good drinks and great mole! Ask for Samantha she is one great waitress! Handled 14 of my crew and got us a table within an hour of calling.... Highly recommend.
Love mexican food and this restaurant rates very close to the top.
This restaurant has the best mole a sauce you can buy. Others say they have the best but Anita's is worth trying..
The best! Great food and great service.
Tasty. Big Tacos.
Great Shrimp enchiladas and amazing margarita. I wil be back for sure!
This place is seriously good Mexican. Went with carnitas and was not disappointed. They were super crispy and still nice and juicy just like it should be, also what little fat was there was perfectly rendered and super yummy. The shredded chicken in the enchiladas is also super tender and extremely flavorful. Also need to mention the table salsa is not too hot and just tastes super fresh. Next time we are in the area will definitely stop by!
Delicious, consistent, before and now.
Huge burritos served wet! Highly suggest. Fajitas were great too. Plus free chips and salsa
Good food, good service.
Anita’s is one of me all time favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. It took a few years living in the area before I realized we had such a great place in our midst. All the waiters have been here for years and once you get going a few times each month, the start to know your favorite orders.
Good food and service! Quick too!
Dinner with the wife and we ended up here after a recommendation. Good food and quick service. Not the nicest decor inside but fairly cheap prices. Overall decent meal but not memorable. Would return. 3 out of 5 sombreros
Probably one of the better places in town. Everyone talks about Casa Orozco, but their food is plain and prices are outrageous. Anita's has more authenticity, the food is better and the prices keep it enjoyable. The location and size are the only drawbacks here, but as long as we can find parking, we will continue to eat here.
very happy with this place. I have driven by it for almost 3 years and today went there after visiting casa Mexico casa Orozco and other restaurants in town. I was pleased with the food and the prices. I will definitely be going back.
